With the current pandemic changing the way of life worldwide, many of us have been forced to make some dramatic changes in our everyday lives. For our general safety, social distancing during the lockdown is vital as it minimizes the risk of you, your friends, and your family getting sick. However, staying inside for long periods of time can be a real drag. Fortunately, there are some things you can do to spice up your family time. Here are five fun games to play with your family during the pandemic.

1. Treasure hunt

Have a whole day on your hand and don’t know how to keep your kids entertained through it? Well, plan a treasure hunt for them. Kids love finding things, and it will keep them busy for a long time. You can leave clues throughout the house and set a prize for whoever completes the hunt first.

2. Hangman

This is a classic pen and paper game that you can play with the whole family. You can up the stakes by assigning new rules to the game. For example, if someone guesses a wrong letter, they have to do some silly task or challenge.

3. Two truths and a lie

This game allows the family to know more about each other. The name itself pretty much lays out all the rules to the game. Each person tells two truths about themselves and a lie, and the rest of the people have to find out which one is a lie.

4. Hide and Seek

This is the ultimate childhood game that you probably played with your friends as well. You only need one person to cover their eyes and wait while others go around the home to hide. That person then tries to find the participants and whoever is caught first has to seek others in the next round.
